Bargain Camcorders!

I've finally joined the masses and bought myself a camcorder after years of thinking about it. I ended up with a Sony TRV218E which is a Hi-8 camera with lots of features - the manual is about an inch thick!

Now I know this camera is quite old, but that's the point ... I paid £70 for it!!!

Every time Argos change their catalogue, they have "Run Outs" (ROs) which is stock that is not in the new catalogue, so they either return it to the main warehouse or leave it in stock until it sells out.

Now these list of ROs are very difficult to persuade Argos staff to part with, as there are some real bargains in there. Plus they may already be out of stock anyway.

You cannot order this stuff online. You need to either phone your local store and reserve it, or turn up and check their stock on the instore terminals. Be quick though, as these bargains started on friday and what was left over will be running very low.

Here's the list of camcorders that I know of. All are £70 or £75. Check with the old catalogue for the actual item, or check instore. But you won't be picky at this price!

5630860 - Sony Camcorder TRV218E
5630891 - Sony Camcorder
5601003 - Sony Camcorder
5631027 - JVC Camcorder
5631223 - JVC? Camcorder

Good luck, and if you bag one you owe me a pint!

PS. Argos has a clause in their "Ring And Reserve" where you pay the price when you collect it, and not when you reserve it, so *always* check the price you're about to pay.
