Cast Iron Full floating Discs

can any of you tell me how much play should be in these things, ive just bought a pair for my spare wheels second hand, but cant jet my head round the amount of movement between the ally and cast pieces, the discs itself shows no signs of wear from the pads.

do they need the floating rivet type pieces replacing?

ah, remember the good old tune?;

"do do dooo, do do dooo, thats just the way it is..."

Mine (all of them) are the same - thats why they're called floating. You'll also notice they tend to rattle a bit as you wheel the bike around at a walking pace.

Nothing to worry about.
