Big service....

Dropped the Duke off last night into the hands of someone i have never met before, but comes highly recommended, got stuck in straight away, very impressed with the way he had it stripped down in what seemed like minutes..!,so left him to it.

Then came the call this morning....3 rocker arms gone..feck..although to be honest,i'd convinced myself that there were going to be more than that gone,Dibble, your record still stands....

No real reson why they should be any better than the ones that failed to be honest! I believe it to be an oil supply problem that causes them to fail. Plus there are 13 others in there still to go!

I'll get my coat...

Saw the offending items today.
One with chrome worn right through, one with chrome almost through and one with a chip out of the edge but not on the contact area.
All exhaust openers two rear cylinder and one front.
The rears were the worst so the oil starvation looks the likely cause.
All the others are unmarked.

Ducati would be stupid to sell inferior replacements, so i'm confident they won't need doing again.

I agree only three is lucky.
