IIRC California Cycle Works did some software that did something similar when I last looked in 06/07.

?? only appears to be covering the 5.9 and 5AM equipped bikes. At 6500 euros, you'd go down the nemesis route imo.

Seems more of a dealer thing at those sort of prices, with the costs recouped by flashing the ECU's as was done with the FIM setup

Is it in part because of the Nemisis that FIM have wrapped up there production of the 5.9U and the chips etc, or is there are flaw with there product that was costing them money. if thats the case should I be worried about the one on my 998R

I've never heard a bad word about FIM Kev. I'd be worried about support from now on, but what can you do?

I've heard that these will also fit Dukes?
The Guzzi one says it will fit the Marelli 15M

Might try one on my 900ssie project.

As far as Triumphs go Tuneboy has an excellent reputation. They're available in the UK IIRC.

I spoke with Duane at FIM a couple of times last year and I told him that in my opinion the thing letting down the FIM product was the software interface. It needed to be in one package, not two separate pieces of software, use one file format instead of the two along with conversion between them, and to be able to map dynamically like the PC or Nemesis and not staticly, and it needed to be USB ideally. He agreed but said that the costs involved in writing new software were jut too prohibitive. I think he realised then that there was a limited futire for his product.
After speaking with the guy who runs Nemesis, I think that he's on to a winner with his product.

The Nemesis is really the muts nuts-the only problem with it is that you must have an electronic dash for it to work-which means on a twinspark that you need the full Nemesis kit including dash and loom at £2,000. Which is why Sparky didn't have one but got a power commander instead.
