Which MotoGP? (NB Same post as on Race section)

I posted the message below a couple of days ago, but no-one has answered, so I thought I'd try the wider readership here :

We fancy a weekend at one of the remaining MotoGPs this year, but not Donny.

That realistically means either:

Czech Republic - Brno - 22 August
Portugal - Estoril - 5 September
Spain - Valencia - 31 October

Bearing in mind location, track, atmosphere, transport, hotels, food, cost and all the other little things, which one should we go for and why?

Thanks

Hi Lizzie,

Haven't been to a MotoGP at any of them, but I'd go for Spain as you can catch some rays (no chance in Brno) and vaguely understand what people say (no chance in Estoril). There's also a raft of options for getting there, some great biking en-route, it's cheap, and it's just a damn fine country all round.

Hope you have a classic, whichever you end up at.

Cheers,

Ali

ps: thanks for the welcome pack, Prontos read cover-to-cover....

I'd go for Valencia. Should be a great atmosphere, and probably the title decider. Reasonable costs involved too.

Espana all the way! The Spanish know how to party, ive been to Jerez twice and Valencia once.
I used Big Rock Promotions, highly recommended motogp hospitality.
I used Britany Ferries sailing from Plymouth to Santander. Although I took 2 days to ride to Valencia , We rode back in 1 Bloody hard ride though. ( via Soria ) We stayed in the Cuidad de Valencia Hotel.

DO IT.....

i went to catalunya earlier in the year and going to valencia later this year, as said before, it could well be the title decider which would be amazing but even so lots of people will be out to impress for 2005 rides so should be great racing. i booked flights with BA.

Valencia

Went for the last all 2-stroke GP in 2001 - no other GP I've been to has come close for atmosphere.

Giles

PS. I tends to rain quite a bit at Estoril as well, so you may as well get some late sun at Valencia!
