exhaust springs
i just got some race cans and i have fitted them now in the process of putting them all done but stuck with the springs on the pipes behind the peg?????

i got one on the left pipe but the shorter right pipe is a right bitch any black art onto getting the spring on other wise im guna have to buy some stupidly long mole grips i think

I used a flat blade screwdriver under the hook and pull it out once it's hooked on the pipe. it also helps if you do the shorter one before you actually fit the the left hand pipe

Draper do a little cranked, hooked tool designed for the job. Priceless and it's only about a fiver.

Make yourself a spring-puller from a wire coat hanger.

Takes about 1.5 seconds to make one.

I actually use 2 hooked together for that awkward one behind the pipe.

Mole grips - Schmole grips. Loop of electricall cable wrapped round hands does the trick and it's free. Well almost!
