Just been watching the lap-by-lap timings on eurosport.co.uk for race 2, which despite no picture was quite entertaining. Wish I could have seen it on telly

Chili called his bike a 998.5 cos he had stuck a 999's engine in it. Still a great race to say how far back he was.

Er, nothing to do with tyre choice then... given the rain/drying out track?

Who said WSB is dead? Does it ever get better than that - a stunning ride from Chili on the 998.5! And it's not as if Laconi wasn't trying - I'm surprised he had any rear tyre left after the way he was smoking it!! Can't wait for Monza....

Looked like laconi was riding a speedway bike the amount of time he spent sidewards(if only i could do that with out falling off)

The fact that Chili is still competing and winning tells me that WSB is not quite what it was.
Enjoyed the 2nd race though.......
