Bits\'o\'metal, sheet, rod, section, etc
Hi All,

Just been hunting for someone to supply lovely bits of raw materials (for making brackets, spacers, etc) and managed to track down these guys:

http://www.wycombemodels.co.uk/

Not to keen to do business over the phone, but sound like they've got lots of stock in various metals/plastics which could come in handy during the season.

Quote:
We stock Brass. Copper. Steel. Aluminium.Stainless.
Nylon. PTFE. P/Bronze. Silver Steel.

Cutting Tools Taps Dies. Threading Inserts.
Special Size Reamers. Slot Drills. End Mills.

If anyone from further afield needs something specific u2u me and I'll ask when I'm next up there.

Cheers,

ali

I've got a mate that does plastic - http://www.k2a.co.uk/
Give Ken a call as he rides a 'blade and knows about the racing.
He'll sort you out if you need any sort of plastic.

As for metal, you can pick up plenty of great bits of metal in B&Q - little brackets and stuff are well easy to come by in there if you hunt around.
They may not be cheaper than buying from a merchant, but you bits in various sizes in decent finishes.
