The bike needs a bit of bling ....
It's about time I started treating my 998s well, so I thinkm it needs a few tasteful accessories

1) carbon heel guards ... well lets face it the originals bend somewhat!!
2) Clutch cover - CNC
3) Front sprocket cover

I ahve looked at tecmoto and casoli ( even though I vowed I would go near them again). Is there anywhere else I should go?

The ride height tie bar is beginning to get well chewed ( love those Italian bolts). Again Casoli do one ... and JHP / Duke Cov used to do one. Now JHP have become corporate do they still do such stuff?

I have a DP rear hugger ... but the guide for the brake line decided it wanted to stay somewhere in Northern France, rather than coming down here a) Can i get a replacement? b) Are there any other opions rather than buting a whole new hugger at 130 squd?

Hi mate you can get the brakeline cover for about 15-20 quid off ebay

I wouldnt bother with the carbon heelguards, theres a guy doing stainless ones with the ducati logos etc laser cut, look damn trick but unfortunately he doesn't do em in the corsa shape.

I can understand why you wouldn't wanna go near Casoli, but you have to admit its pretty hard to f*ck up making a clutch or sprocket cover - they have a magnesium cover I'm pretty tempted by.

Rideheight bar will get chewed, but the thing you REALLY wanna worry about are the two ******* nuts on it, they are made from finest Italian cheese and disintegrate at the mere mention of a spanner, you can get a replacement one from www.TPOparts.com

Don't forget that I doubt Casoli actually make anything themselves, so supplier problems will no doubt be sorted if you complain loudly enough.

I guess I understand that, but it always the hassle factor. I would rather pay more and feel like I was being taken seriously!!!

What about just getting DP parts, they do a nice TI front sprocket cover that looks so much better than the CP type.

Personally I can't recommend TecMoto enough - always been good for me and others I know who have used them and certainly have quality parts.
