Hi all newbie here...some advice please..

hi all
im a massive Ducati fan but admitedly lacking in some knowledge. I am currently looking at an 04 Dark. It looks perfect and i have placed a deposit, however one query is the top light of the three is recessed as opposed to sitting above the screen.
I have questioned the dealer and he has advised that this is due to an aftermarket higher screen which means the light is recessed as suggested. He as assured me there is nothing untoward about this. I have not been able to find any pictures on the internet to put my mind at rest.

If you experienced lot could just reassure me i would be very greatful.

Hope to speak to yall soon.

Cheers.

Welcome fab, I don't have one of the new fangled thingy's so can't help but I'm sure someone will be along shortly who can.

Hope you enjoy the club, lots of good advice and people around.

It's customary for newbie's to get a drink in at the bar so I'll have a Bailey's on ice please.

I would not worry about it, i have an after market screen and removed the blimp light its only there for the US market anyway as they have a light hight regulation

Mine is recessed behind an aftermarket screen. Not an issue except at night when at first you notice it but soon get used to it and forget it's there.

Welcome.
