Cancelled mate, there was very little interest and we were being pushed to confirm this week so I pulled the plug. I have also returned the Oulton day to MSV who will now run it themselves with us being offered spaces-I will post the info as soon as I get it.

Club trackday this year will be 21st and 22nd August at Cadwell-complete with camping, beer and dancing girls-well Ruth, Kelly and Lisa anyway..................

Well thanks for trying Il Duce.
There will be mucho dissapointment when I tell herself tonight
Cadwell is very difficult for us to organise with 2 dogs that cant go into kennels.
Unless you know someone near cadwell who can day-board dogs ?

I was well up for it. I will not be doing cadwell. I was really up for a blast round the hatch and getting to meet new peeps. I could not do two days at cadwell so the trip is not worth me doing. Maybe if only one day had been planned for cadwell there would possibly have been more takers.
Oh well! just have to book up with a regular company instead.

For me the reason I didn't put in for Brands or Oulton was nothing to do with the cost or that Cadwell is two days.
It was all down to having to have the money in at this early stage, I've just had to MOT the race van and insure it, at the end of this month it needs taxing and on top of that I have just paid out for a race entry and a trackday as practice.
None of which can be blamed on Desmo Due as I was racing well before the series came into being and for a few years now the start of the race season has always been a costly time for me.

So!!! if cadwell had been one day only, would they have put their money on brands. There was a lot of interest for brands in the begining.

Cadwell can be one day if you want. The option is there to have either one or both of the days if you wish.

There's always "lots of interest" but the if the deposits don't come, then it won't happen.
TA5 was a loss maker, despite there being "lots of interest". Monty has had to play it this way to protect the funds.

As I say it would have made no difference to me as its all down to the timing of having to pay out the money, although the extra day at Cadwell works out really cheap, not just the entry cost but als no Extra travelling, which at 160+ miles each way in the van adds up to a fair bit.
