Torque Settings

Hi there

Can someone help me out please, i have got to take my back wheel off to have it resprayed, can anyone tell me what the torque setting for the rear wheel nut will be please??

Also for future referance can anyone tell me what the torque setting is for the other side on the sprocket carrier

The Ducati workshop manual I've got states: -

Rear Wheel LH nut 137 Nm
Rear Wheel RH nut 157 Nm

Thats quite a difference.

Are all 748's the same or do different models/wheels have different torque settings?

My workshop manual states 137 / 157Nm

Ducati's current recommendations are higher though,

I did mine to 176 Nm as stated in the haynes manual, done it twice now nothing broke yet

Me too, no probs, but then I only trust the cable tie holding it on....
