Thumbs up 900ssi Servicing

Dear All,

I am looking to carry out a service on my 900ss but as part of that I want to replace the belts; is this something that a competent DIYer can do or is it best left to a dealer? Do I need any specific tools for this?

The bike has done 10,000 miles so any other advice on what to look out for other than oil and plugs etc would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance Frazelli

I'm not sure if this is any help me being brand spanking new here n all, but when i started servicing my bikes myself I found haynes manuals invaluable. they give u a check list for each service by mileage letting u know exactly what to check such as valve clearances etc

good luck!

Go to www.ducati.nu you can download a workshop manual for your bike there (i know coz ive just done it for the same reason!). Actually...i think you might be able to do it off ducati uk website..
