Wheel Sizes

How do you find your wheel sizes. Where do I measure from?

Cheers

D

If I've done it right I would say front is 17x3.5, rear 17x5.75

Da

Measure across the inside of the wheel well, ie where the bead sits

My rear wheel width measures 5.75 inches should this run a 190 or 180 tyre?

The old tyre was a 190 which came with the wheels when I brought them so I'm not sure whether I should replace like for like or go for the 180?

They have not yet been fitted and are going on my 748

Regards Frazelli

Mine is running a 190 at the moment.
Not too sure if a 180 would fit.

a standard 996 wheel is 5.5 inches and does fit a 180 section tyre well. 6 inch rim fits a 190 well but as for the 5. 75 rim, i don't think anyone here has mentioned the best fit for it. search for the wheel and tyre post by shazzam!

Mood: Found a CR250. Let the bone braking begin
only through people who know what they are doing with Mag.
its not as simple as other metals.
it requires a special coating before being painted, otherwise it will all just flake off.
best off contacting Dymag, although I found them to be a bit expensive

Cheers Keefer.

I had them painted by a place up near Lincoln but I think they only did paint not powder coating.
