9 Lives (in Guildford) are a good bunch. I can strongly recomend them having had a number of near death of the leathers experiences resurected by their capable hands. They also do a mean made to measure race suit at a very reasonable price (used to look after the likes of Shaun Emmett until he became big & famous).

If only, if only.....Daughters wedding to pay for and a son costing me £400 a month at University (just doing his finals thank God) means a mountain of overdraft and credit card bills that'll take me the next 5 years to clear

Once I've done that I can start building up another mountain of overdraft and credit card bills to go racing because it's there on my list of "things to do in one lifetime"...Oh, and I've got to convince Mrs Jools that racing is no more dangerous than gardening.

By the way, I've already copyrighted the name "Rat Racing" for my team, when I get it up and running...which will probably be around 2010 at this rate.

"Awwww Jools fancy naming your team after me"

Congratulations on your entry though Paul, I wish you well and I'm not jealous at all, no...really I'm not Good to see you've got enough confidence after your crash to go racing. And if there are lots of wet races, the rest of you look out...I always thought I was quite handy in the wet until I missed my session at the soaking wet Mallory trackday (TA1). Anthony kindly let me out in the Novices and I was miffed to find that I was having the hardest of times keeping up with Paul in the wet...he was flying!

Good to have you on board Paul! Nothing like a last minute entry to spice things up....

Hope the monnie proves to be a worthy steed and more reliable than my bleedin' SS! Laugh, I nearly killed myself......

Cheers,

Ali

Thank you all

Your encouragement is much appreciated, and if you're around at Snetterton Jools maybe you'd like to try out a REAL race bike in one of the trackday sessions :P

Now how much is a paint job? I can't afford to be seen on an unfinished bike, I mean, this Monnie still hasn't had the yellow topcoat applied over the red undercoat and grey primer
