use your common sense when buying

the older the model the rarer they are, minichamps werent so popular in 2000/2001 and they didnt produce nowhere nera the range they do now

deej, when I was into Falconry, i used to spend crazy money on rare books, dating back to 1841. Sold a few and kept a few. I would buy them and put them straight into the book case, just a quick glance inside. Most of them I got from the states. those were the days

You're not wrong there!

I watched two Corser 99's go through for £490 & £510 the other day!! I'm trying to collect all the Ducati race bikes(getting there slowly),but that is mad money!!
Adam's quite right too, collecting these things can become an obsession!!

I've just done a little deal with a model shop who was clearing a few slow sellers!

Reynolds 2001
Russo 2003
Foti 2003
Merkva 2003
£85 the lot!! There are good deals out there, but the rare ones still fetch strong money, looks like i'll have to bite the bullet to complete the collection!!
Hope the missus doesn't find out!!:P

I was going to make this my winter project, collecting them, but once I got the Steve Martin one that was it. They do look good, trouble is I have them in my wifes plate cabinet so i will have to find somewhere else for them. I have noticed some collectors just collect the rare ones and winners of championships, but i would like to get them all, one day.

you'll never get them all nowadays unless you win the lottery, theres probably well over 150 different minichamps bike models

ive jusy had my latest flyer through from trax with another 30+ new releases from the 2003/2004 season which also included the desmosedici capirossi race winner as it finished still covered in the grime, that 1's already been pre ordered by me

ive decided to stick to the rossi and sheene collection, bsb winners, wsb bikes i like and the motogp winners which at the moment coincide with the rossi lot

£39.99 and its not out yet, contact trax-models.co.uk and see if its on their site, they send me a flyer with all the latest models on but dont say when its released until they actually get them in stock, unlike gpl who advertised the hailwood 2months before it arrived in the uk
