right I know how to host a picture in the normal text log.
but as all the avatars that were hosted by the DSC seem to have gone AWOL.
how do I host a avatar ?
I tried to put the link in but to no avail.
any ideas please

Hello keefer,

I am guessing but the DSC hosted your last Avatar, and I think they have had some problems with a few lost pics.

However what you need to do is have the picture hosted else where.
Then edit your profile on the DSC (login-control panel options-edit profile) and paste the image link into Avatar URL:

If you don't have web space I can host the pic for you, or you could get one of the free picture galleries to host it.

Hope that all makes sence, not tried it yet but should work.

I can't see them, mine is also missing.
But not to worried as I know the Webteam are looking into ways to improve the site and if that means my Avatart goes missing for a while then so be it.

I can't see any Avatar other than Keefers

If you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer, try pressing Ctrl and F5 simultaneously to force your PC to refresh its details - the avatars should then be displayed.
