Rearsets
I have recently bought some rearsets without any fitting instructions.
Could someone take a pic of the left side (gear change) please. The only reason I'm confused is that it came with a load of spare levers (race I imagine).
The rearsets were bought from tecmoto and are in the syle of DP ones.

Cheers

Hello

Just out of intrest, I have fitted some Harris rear sets, and finding it a little difficult to set them right for my riding position, more so gear changing.
Due to the fact they are adjustable, is there a basic/general rule of thumb,
or is it a case of adjust/test etc.

Sorry maybe answered my own question. . .

regards

Cheers Karl, I don't have a bit that the gear lever attaches to.

Carbon749, I think I have both but I after the road set up.

Cheers

Dave if it's the part I think you're refering to (the bush) then that normally doesn't come with the set, you just use the one off your stock rearsets

Don't think you mean the bush in the gear lever I think you mean the shaft / pin. If so, again you used your standard one. The linkage between the gear lever and the splined shaft can be your standard linkage.

If you mean that you do not have the bolt hole below the foot peg to screw the shaft / pivot bolt in to then you have run with a race shift, ie: gear lever straight on to the splined gear shaft.

Right, this is what I have, I also have a black rod for the gear change linkage.

What seems to be missing is a way of attaching the gear change, the thing is I've looked in my Ducati calaloge and everything is the same!

Any more advice!

Where are the foot pegs? Those levers do they rotate on a part of the peg, prior to it fittng in the clamp hole in the mounting?

Dave I sold some to Dallas a short while back woth the gear lever pivot point, but as he uses race gear pattern you could probably swap the bit with him.
I will also have a buyer for those extended gearshifts on the left of the pic if you want to part with them and it could mean another of the shorter gear levers coming your way
