Don't buy the 748, you can buy a reliable and fast bike for £3000 EASILY.

Actually I have just changed car to a Citroen Picasso and the back seats are removable so should be able to sleep in there. Could be useful for Brands next year....

but I guarantee this
none of them will look as good or give you the smile on your face that the 748 will
prepare your mrs for the extra time you will be lost in the garage just looking at your new bike

£3000 gets you a LOT of bike these days.

LOL REALLY ???? LOL..

they give plenty of smiles... although i accept they are not as pretty.

ducati riders are living the misguided dream that people want to be them because they think they have the 'Ferarri' of Motorcycles....

What they actually have with a 748 is a Fiat Punto.

Paul, why not have a look at this one? You'd have cash left over, which would please the missus.

Steve, you're going to need a bigger spoon to stir things up with. Your arguments are getting tired...

The ridiculous part is that some seem to think i'm on a wind up ?

Ask any of the lads who've gone to Japanese from the board (i mean 1000cc and fairly new) if they would go back to Ducati 748bp ? i'll be amazed if you get many saying yes..... If ANY.
