when filling up at my local morrisons i didnt realize that i had riden through oil .as i gased out of the junction the back end tryed to take over the front it **** the life out of me ..A lesson to be learned
Apart from the obvious dangers of riding through an oil spill watch out for oil overspill at the fill point within a couple of feet of the pump.
The filler pipes on the Wayne autocourt fillers (which are just about most of the UK ones) are designed to fill a vehicle with the filler opening on the opposite side of the vehicle next to the pump - in other words - they're looooong - so when you pull up to fill, park the bike nearly a cars width away from the pump and avoid the plonkers spillage.
