The reason I wouldn't do it direct like that is that circuits like the Ignition can draw 7 to 10 amps and unless you know what the tilt switch is rated at may not be a good idea, if its anything like the one on my TL1000S it will not be designed for that sort of current as it only needs to spply an interupt signal to the ECU.
Hence my suggestion to put a relay in series and interupt the relay with the tilt switch

I would also fit an over ride toggle switch on the dash just in case

Done that today Kev all seems to work ok, Thank's.

Did you go with a Over ride switch or choose to do with out, as its me riding my own bikes I would go with one, but if its someone else riding my bike I may choose to do without

Get Jimbers to wear a lanyard round his wrist to cut the engine, not when he falls off but when he selects 1st gear. Cuts out the messy bit and you can always throw the bike off a building for the full effect too

Stop picking on Jimbers! he's assured me that he's far more focused this session, well I think that's what he meant [quote] "No more of those silly low speed crashes for me I'm determined to be much faster this year"

Arse! ....you lot won't be laughing with my front wheel lodged deeply where the sun dont shine on my way to the gravel trap!
