Castle Combe - with added AWESOMENESS!

at last!,,,,,,,,,,,

and what a great race to win,, Lovely shiny trophy presented by Carl Fogarty, a parade lap on the back of the winners car with Allen Parks and six lovely girls and to top it all off prize money as well!!

Well done to Allen for winning despite a screen brace weld breaking and completing the last lap with the fairing resting on the mudguard,

Well done to Andy Challis for a new lap record, and for giving me such a hard but safe (ish) race!

Well done to Niel Appleby, for, I think, (not sure) you won the championship at The Castle Of Doom, and for entertaining the crowd on the warm up!

Thanks to Neal Catling for coming along even with all your injuries. (maybe next years spanner man)

Thanks to Hugh for donating the prize I won in the raffle (I'm on a winning streak)

Thanks to Trudy for,,,,, being Trudy

thanks to Chaz for offering to chuck my bike in a skip and build me a new one over the winter.

thanks to every one!!!

*****AWESOME LAWSON - THE GREAT! IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like It - straight to the point no messing
Well done Matt, Nice brace of wins

I make it that Niel needs a point or two at Oulton to be crowned Champion
But I haven't got a result sheet for the second race so haven't updated the Championship table yet

You earned dude. Well done and to Alan as well.

RE championship, yes I do need to collect 2 points at Oulton so fingers crossed.

I thought the free practice was a tad boring so through in some entertainment.

AWESOME.....

Andy got close with a 1m 21.69 dispite the circuit feeling bumpier than previous years

Fastest Class B was Hugh with a 1m 26.362 almost a second down on Harriets 1m 25.4 on the same bike

I'm amazed anyone went fast on that track! I'm fairly brave; but not THAT brave!! Think Paul's discretion about fitted it

Well done Matt

Got a feeling that she doesn't weigh 14 1/2 stone though and she didn't manage that time on her 16th lap ever on that circuit, while in her rookie year?!

Kev I think sometimes you focus on the wrong stuff mate

Anyway... Well done Awesome top result mate!!

As I was not best pleased with my performance at the Castle, I was actually presented with a rather Awesome looking cup for my feeble efforts.

Cheers Matt and good riding.
