just pray you'll never have to go through this your self

it's going to be a pain 'cus i'll have to put the liquid gasket on, measure the endfloat, and then strip it all apart again to change shims (if necessary)

remind me again why i didn't buy an R1

I seem to recall that Chris Kelley was getting/had gotten some new gaskets made up. Might be worth contacting him. http://www.ca-cycleworks.com/shop/catalog/index.html

fish: he lists a clutch side cover gasket, i'll email him see if he's got anymore on the way

here's his reply:

Hi Mark,

The only gaskets I am making at this time are alternator cover and 2V valve cover. For other applications, I suggest gasket forming sealant. With hylomar is best.

sorted!

i can't quite believe it, but i think i managed to strip down and repair my duc, then put it back together without making it worse.

i am so f%^$#n happy to back on the old girl
