Mark,

I visited the factory a couple of eyars ago whilst in Tuscany on holiday. Highly recommend it. It's free and there are two main 'slots' each day. In the morning and again after lunch.

Tis best to find out if the gift shop is going to be closed for any period of time and plan your trip around that. 2 weeks in August is a prime example. Practically the whole country closes for 2 weeks.

I've put a bit of info ( mainly who you need to contact to arrange the free tours) on my website.

Have a look Here

A load of the club members went over a couple of months back. I am sure they'll respond to your post to.

Any probs, just shout.

Guido

Yep have been and it was excellent. We went on a trip organised by Antoneye with about 30 others. Well worth the £50 that I spent that day!!!

Went there during WDW. Fantastic walking round where the 748 was built.

The times etc are on the ducati web site. And yes it is worth going.

I have just got back from my annual holiday.
It was to Tuscany in Italy. Wilst there I visited the Bologna factory.
I went on the morning slot, and was there for around 3 hours. We were shown the assembly line, the engines being built, engines being tested, and all the various stages of build.
The museum is also great, a grood selection of old Ducatis and up to Capirosi,s GP bike from last year(got a pic of me next it!!!!).
Well well worth going to see.
I will post a report soon with some pics,a nd also of some taken inside factory! Although they are not supposed to have been taken. I think I just pushed the shutter by accident.
As previous posts have said, e-mail Alex Corossa to let him know, how many are visiting and on what date.

Regards
Peter G
