Termignoni 45mm or 50mm on 748E
Apart from the obvious pipe diameter whats the main difference between 45mm and 50mm pipes from a performance and suitablilty point of view?

if I were you id just get some nice 45mm carbon cans and have the down pipes polished. Job Job'd

hi TonyH
i have a 748E as well and run a 45mm system. i did try using a 50 mm system i had spare but it had no great effect n the power , i felt it ran a little worse. so i swiched back to the 45mm pipes and sold the 50mm`s

45mm are better apparently until you get an R then 50mm - take a look at an australian site - moto one and look up performance notes they have lots of info on all sorts of things including the 45 /50mm debate.
