The Ducati rider is today privately testing his physical condition at the World Championship circuit ahead of the Sepang Test.

Valentino Rossi is riding a Ducati 1198 at the Misano circuit today (Wednesday) to test his physical condition ahead of the first official MotoGP Test at Sepang, which takes place next week from February 1st-3rd.
Riding the non-MotoGP machine to comply with the Testing restrictions, the Italian took to the track at around 1pm local time in cool conditions (8ºC) to assess his level of comfort in his recovering shoulder, amid his own concerns about his riding position ahead of the Malaysian Test.
Ducati Team Manager Vittoriano Guareschi is also present at the track, where Rossi plans to ride throughout the afternoon as he undertakes the latest step in his continuing recovery from shoulder surgery which took place last November.
