Suspension Revalve

May have been covered before
Would like to get the front forks revalved/resprug and a new rear shock fitted to the bike for road and "occasional" (light term) track use.
Do the mods make much difference or can the standard settings be tweeked to offer as good a setting.

Mood: Not so broke any more !!!!!!!!
Have full Ohlins in my Showa legs / the difference is an awful lot !
One word of warning , make sure you have some one to help you set them up
as it might not be a case of one or two clicks either way like me (took me months )
I got my bike set up for the local (bad ) roads ,as i am on them far more than the track !

K-Tech - KAIS etc.......

You'll deffo feel the difference.

Mood: Finally gotten over the 748R getting stolen thing. Actually, no i haven't !
I Had my 748r done by Kais a few months after i bought it new early last year. I could not believe how it could be worse with Ohlins than my old 748bp on showa.
Within 30 yards of leaving Kais's place, (they have a very bumpy forcourt) i knew i had spent my money wisely.
It makes a big difference and is well worth it.

I had new springs front and rear, re valve front. New oil both ends, adjust internal damping rear.
Set up to suit me for £400.
Took most of the day.

Maxton did my st4s, cost just over £400 and was well worth it.

I use mine more for the road and only done a couple of track days (pre revalving).

I'd always say spend money on suspension first before engine mods IMHO.
