I am 43, been riding for 26 years without a break. Over 1000 miles per week for a while, now about 2000 miles a year. Bit sad that.

CB250T - Honda Dream, allegedly. Never ridden a bike before. Bought it, got on and rode off. Those were the days.
CB500/4 - rat bike, despatching on other people's thrown away tyres.
CB250N - bought cheap after throwing a rod on the 500/4, nicked and whole bike thrown through a field.
R80RS - ultimate despatch bike (white BMW + fluro jacket)
Triumph 5TA - double vision above 40mph. Not ultimate despatch bike.
Laverda Jota - double vision above 130mph!
Motodd Laverda Jota - recently sold after 10 years in a Scottish shed
CBX1000 - UKP250 in Perth, Australia
XL1000 - UKP400 in Houston, Texas. Double vision at 70mph
91 900SS - sold to buy 916, then waited 18 more months
96 916BP - worth the wait
99 996SPS No 770 - I only went to look at it coz I'd never seen one
851SP3 No 341 - Just missed repossessed SP3 for UKP600, bought on the rebound
Brutale - Needed something to take the wife out on. Couldn't think of anything nicer.
851SP3 No 533 - Bought repossessed SP3 after all, but not for UKP600
