what oil do i put in my 1999 748BP please? will find out what has been used in it, but any recommendations would be good. ta

I use Motul 300V in mine.
That's a 15/50 fully synth.
Done me OK for the last 52000 miles.

Motul 300V. My 996 did 27000 on it and would probably have done way more if some toerag hadn't nicked it.....

sounds like Motul has a following...of at least two anyway. any real point spending out on Shell etc...i am presuming Motul is cheaper...though i know it to be a quality brand. 15/50...is that the recommended viscosity as opposed to 10/50?

Actually, Motul is probably dearer. I'm sure Shell is fine too, but that's what I use.
