Cheers guys.

Reason for asking was to determine hoe different my 'cooking' 998 is from a 998s.

Previous owner (Ben998) has put a large bore system (54mm I think) on complete with chip, and done the brakes too.
Therefore I was wondering what else needed doing.

Btw, the normal 998 also has the rear ohlins.

I would love a 998s (rode one when they first came out) but can't put that much dosh into one bike at present.

Thanks again,
John.

John,
I was lucky enough to buy a 998S Mono in Yellow..! thru the web site. After taking a 998 out for a test ride it had to be the 'S' Love the bike to bits. It took me almost 8 months before one came up for sale...If you get the chance, buy one...(in yellow of course !)

I've owned both the 998Bip and the 998S FE - the S engine plus the Ohlins forks makes a world of difference, well worth the extra.

This is a classic Ducati thing, where do you stop?
Its a sure fact you can keep going and going, eg 998 or 998s? Have you looked at a 996r, or a 998r or a 999r, or a 2005 999s? or a desmosedici??

It just keep going, and the only restriction is budget!
