Smile front sub frame

Can i weld my front sub frame arm & what metal is it thanks steve

The hassle and expense of welding it and then having to repaint it means that its probably easier to buy another one.

Oh, by the way I have a really good condition one in black for sale....

Two on ebay at the moment but I dont remember the diff between carb & ie units - just search for 900ss

both seem a bit pricey to me though!

The 750SSie one is a fair bit different to the carb'd one but not sure how it differs from Steve's 800 one as his runs different clocks.
Still he's brining it up to Oxford midweek as Senna3 is going to have a go at repairing it for him

on my 1000ds, the front sub frame has 3 points for the clocks to bolt on: one at the top and one on each side.


the earlier SuperSports (injected ones) with the older clocks, had one at top, one at bottom, and on one on either of the sides (I believe on the left - not sure).


check on yours first before you start looking for one on the internet or dealers
