Cutting fairing lowers

Anyone know how easy (or hard) it is to cut the lowers to accept a belly pan

Cheers

Not sure I'd want to go there mate...

You could replace the lower half of your fairings with 998S ones as they're designed to work with a belly pan.

Alternatively I'd get some pattern fairings with a belly pan and spray those up, protecting your original items from mutilation and further stone chips as they'll be in the garage/loft.

If you do decide to operate on them, a Dremmell tool is a really useful thing to have for any fiddly bits.

Good luck!
