03 749 - 05 749
Does anyone know of any differences between the rearend bodywork on the 03 749/999 mono and the 05 version?

the rear of the side fairings is different to clear the new swingarm and exhaust routing

They both are. Seats are identical. Side fairings are different to accomodate the wider top fairing and re-routed exhaust (due to the different swingarm).

749 Rear End
FWIW, Termis which fit a 2003 749 will not fit onto a 2005 bike due to design changes on the bike at the rear end.
