Brembo Radial master cylinder spares

Help !

Does anyone know a good brembo stockist where I can get spares for my radial brake MC ?... I need a new washer as someones clouted the lever forward (probably 'er indoors trying to get at her gardening tools!!) and bust it (its supposed to break under duress apparently ??). Spoke to PDQ but they havent phoned me back...

Also..its booked in for a MOT Friday...dya reckon a tester would fail it if the levers flopping forward ??

Many Thanks
Nat

Try these guys or GP Racewear at Silverstone - UK importers I think.

Crust,

All the EC parts guys are now at GP Racewear. (although the EC site still works you can see they are now part of the GPR group) Spoke to the Steve's earlier this week.

I think you'll find that GP Racewear will not sell you parts. They will, however, service and repair your radial cylinder, provided you send it to them. I had the exact same problem, recently. Eventually, I found some repair kits at PDQ. There are other sources such as Yoyodyne in the States and RedRacing parts in Italy.

RedRacing won't sell spare parts for master cylinders. They say on their website that you have to send it to Brembo via them for servicing. It makes sense really, it's a big liability issue if you install a critical part incorrectly and get a brake failure.

I know what you're saying Shazaam, but that little top hat washer breaks easily when you knock the lever. I've replaced it at least twice myself and it's an easy job. The repair kits are about 30-35 pounds and for that you get the pushrod, the circlip, the "top hat" washer, and a tube of grease. If you take care, you can do the entire job without disturbing the hydraulic system, i.e, no need to bleed the system.
