I've got this fitted too.

one word

Awesome.

I'd recommend it. Delivery took 3days from ordering.

Whats the fit like on your bike? Any heavy modding needed or did it just bolt straight on. I take it you have a 748/916 type fairing?

DC.

The brake pressure switch can be part of the banjo bolt that connects the brake line(s) to the master cylinder.

If you're using two brake lines, you might get in trouble with the brake sensor fouling the fork. The sensor fits at the end of the banjo bolt and if you're using a double one then its a bit longer than a single one.

Mine was close, but was OK, I moved the brembo race m/cyl I had on the clip-on to make it fit. There is a pin in the clipon that the m/cyl locates in, but a quick "adaptation" with a hacksaw cures the prob!!!

Ah, exellent. ( In true Mr Burns tyre voice.)

Me thinks that I must start having a play about with these bits.

I've got a 748, and it fits fine, the inner end of the lever / adjuster hits the foam surrounding the clocks when putting the steering lock on, but then my original one did too. Other than that, clearance is fine.

I could probably adjust it further, but it's not an issue to me when riding, so I'm leaving it alone.

Brembo 4 pad calipers are probably the best value for money mod you can make to your front setup...that said, I too have a brembo radial MC, and the difference it made was incredible (and it looks the dogs!!)..mind you that was on my 888 where the standard MC bore is about 4mm !

Magura do a nice MC too..but its gotta be brembo on a ducati hasnt it ??!!!!! I note that Alan (AJR) in Reading has some tasty deals on brembo radial MC's at the minute...dont forget theres different versions too..both in stroke, and a choice of billet or cast. I would go for a 19x18mm.

I also have the proper brembo/ducati inline brake switches here .. part number 96818500b..£28 from a dealer...£20 incl post from me

Cheers

I changed my brake and clutch faster cylinders this summer, following advice on this site I went for the Discaciati master cylinders which come with the brake switch.

These were delivered in one week, if you have a VAT number you can get them tax free!!!

Visit www.redracingparts.com

The results are incredible, if you go for the clutch MS i would recommend the modified slave cylinder aswell.

And finally buy yourself one extra brake/clutch lever just in case as i doubt you will find one in the UK
