996r are totally gutless 3 hp less don't ya know, horrible plastic seat, not carbon. :P

Some of the cognescenti prefer the 6r for the reason that it was the last of the line to actually win WSBK but for others the 8r is/was the top of the pile before Ducati called time on the series.

The price of that toy you might like has just gone up!

The 6R has an appeal to me because of the Bayliss connection. But there's no doubting the 8R is a better specced bike.

The ultimate machine in the best shape.

Iv'e got one, Its my second ,wrote my first one off in 12 hours, just had to buy another one, just so much better than my 998S
