999r tuning
Hi there, would be interested to hear if anyone has modified the standard flywheel (lightened it) on the above bike and what effect this had. Been getting different and conflicting reports on the outcome to the bike's performance. Like to hear some first hand experiance thanks.

I think the flywheel mod is a throw back to the heavy lumpy old 916/996............ my 999r has no trouble at all with spinning up and revving. just my opinion mind.............your money would be better spent on a bit of head work, an exhaust and a pc111..........= @155 BHP!!

The 999R (and "S" too) have flywheels lighter than the standard model.
Maybe just get rid of it altogether?
