Fitting new steering head bearings
I've bought new taper bearings for the 750ss

However the bottom one doesn't slide down the main shaft

It starts to go on and then gets stuck

I assume it's supposed to be drifted on?

Happy new year

I found the same when changing mine on my 600 monster the other day. I used and oversize piece of tubing on the inner race to knock it down worked.
