Videos of 749 with/without termis?

Just wondering how different the standard exhaust and termis sound on the 749, (i.e are they worth the moeny?) any one have any vids or know of any sound boards with these on?

Cheers.

Depends what you mean by worth it?

I had Termis fitted when my 749S was around 1 year old. They sound great, look great and the motor feels much more "alive" with them fitted. I certainly prefer the bike with them on.

Worth £1000+? That's your decision. I would say no they're not, but I didn't pay full price for mine.

Has anyone used the 'Ducati pipe mod service' in the Les Paul link ?
I would be interested in seeing if it works.
I did a similar thing with my KTM Duke (cut the pipe open and removed all the baffles and TIG welded it back up) and it ran brilliantly afterwards, sounded great and saved about 3 kilos in weight.

Strati (ducatipipemod.com) has closed up his service for several months for personal reasons. I had him do the pipes on my SS. They are awesome if you are on a budget, but once you park it beside a set of Remus or DP's or any other brand the difference will stand out drastically. Very different sound. Hard to explain. Not so much because of his work but just because that's how a gutted pipe is going to sound. It will leave you wanting. In a way I'm glad I did it as I was on a budget at the time and it definately makes the motor perform as if it had a good set of pipes on it, but at other times I wish I had banked the money for a set of Remus high mounts.

thanks for the response y'all

i'm keen on having them fitted, however paying over 1k for an exhaust really makes me cringe at the thought of it, (lucky im not after the titanium ones i suppose) im usually keen on binning money but i dont think i could part with that amount of wonga for something that replaces something that does the pretty much the exact same job, albeit slightly louder and fancier.

Is it true that the systems are fetching silly money second hand or is it the titanium ones due to the titanium shortage?

Cheeeeeeeers

Second hand systems are around £700 a set for the £1000 new assymetric systems.
