As I am now on my second season with my 583 having only carried out oil and filter changes to it, I don't intend putting more race miles on it at extra entry costs just to make up the numbers to have the same problems I would if we ran races with a mixed grid.
It may only be £50 for the extra class. but do that at a few more meets and I may as well have spent the money on going to Assen and for all I know that could make Castle Combe entry fee near to £200.
Escaulated costs is not going to encourage others to sign up to the series, I suspect some didn't turn up at Brands because they committed their money to doing Assen.
At Cadwell we put out 22 Class A bikes and 24 Class B bikes at Brands it was one less for each class. So we started with 46 and have since seen a reduction so to New Era it looks like they only need to allow for one full grid at Castle Combe and I can't see that changing, but a practice and a race on each day would be nice
