My season almost over.. \" sob \"
Got a major engine issue.....got to find a new bottom end aka new engine or season is over....cant really afford it but cant afford not too...??

Major F****D off today........and will be visiting the guy i bought bike from.

I've found the problem. Unfortunately, it's not pretty.
At some point it's been repaired for a similar problem................by welding the fookin' flywheel to the crank!!!!!!!!
The weld has failed and took the keyway out for the alternator.
Not what you wanted to hear, I know, but there's no real solution other than to try and get another bottom end.

Bad luck mate - that's a real ****er when someone stitches you up like that.

What are the chances of getting replacement parts for the bits that have failed, or has it taken out so much you need a new engine?

Good luck - I'm sure there's something out there.

phil, really sorry to hear that.

money is clearly an issue but it would be a shame to have come so far not to make the series. hope you find a viable solution to get you on the grid.
