Clutch problems

Hi

could anyone tell me if a clutch from a 2005 749 would fit my 2004 998s FE.

I think the clutch would fit but I don't know if the plates would be the same, ie would the pressure/grip be good enough for the bigger motor or would it just slip.

Thanks

Dazzer

Should fit ok. You might need to play about with plate sizes to get the right stack height - usually 38mm, but it is do-able. Only other thing to note is shaft size, the S MAY have a 25mm shaft in which case you may or may not need a spacer and a new nut. Hope this helps.
