Anybody own my old Monster

Hello everyone. After 5 years of looking i have just worked out how to register!
Just wondering if anyone on here owns S401 BFC . 1998 M900 Monster in yellow. The bike was sold for me by Marcol motorcycles Notts in April/May 02 after 2years of cracking good fun.
While we are at it what happened to Marcol and why is there still no main dealer in Derby/Notts or is that a good thing.

Welcome at last Griff,

5 years to register

And i thought my internet connection was slow

Anyway welcome to the group, no doubt someone will be along soon to tell you what happened to Marcol, i can't help i am afraid as i am up in Jock land.

As for your bike we have our own group of spotters out tracking it down as we speak.

Welcome again and enjoy. Mines is a pint of Buckfast please since you are at the bar.

Marcol dissappeared a few years back,I dont think they were missed as they didnt seem to have a good reputation anyway. Its where I first test rode a 916 which ran out of petrol less than a mile from the shop leaving me to push it to a garage, marcols didnt seem to care and joked I should have checked it....I joked -I'll buy a bike from someone who checks for me and promptly bought mine elswhere.

You can check a few detail here but will not tell you who owns it.
S401BFC is no longer registered so looks like it has been scrapped

Hello itexuk,
Wow endless hours of fun with this,if only i could remeber the no of my AP50.
Tried it out on a few reg no including some 46 years old and the info is good. However my current road car which is 23 years old and ive owned for 12 years isnt on.
Anyone else tried with abad result on a good vehicle?
Sad if it has gone.
