I bought one of the Niki748 ones on ebay and I am well pleased with it. The slipper action is superb (although I guess this is as much the adjustment as the quality of the clutch), and the quality is top notch. Not particularly bling though, as the pressure plate is kind of magnesium coloured rather than day-glow, glitter-enhanced red or similar.


He hasn't got any up on ebay at the moment, but here's a link to the last one he sold

Looks like £500 is the going rate for them now (I got mine for £450 )
For this you probably get a clutch that would be £800 - £1000 new, only downside is that there is some wear on plates and clutch basket but, to be fair, on mine wear was minimal....good bargain I reckon.

I bought one of his first ones for £380

Ran it on my 996 for over a year and it's in the 998R now ... it will get a workout at Jerez in Jan I'm guessing

Did I mention that I'm going to Jerez?

I forgot to add that I've been through a spider spring since having mine fitted ... I don't think I would have needed one so soon if it was bought new (clearly!)

Still, a great clutch and very cheap for what it is.

Are you taking the 998r Tony, or just the race bike? Either way, you'll be going round there a lot faster than I did, but I can't think of a better place to give the 998r a bit of stick (erm, sorry post seems to have gone off subject a bit)

OK, I think I've got it figured out now...the slipper clutch is in the 998r, and the clutch is going to get a work-out in Jerez in January.

So, run that past me again....are you taking the 998r out to Jerez?

Have you heard of JTR Corse?

They have a website where they show what they do but not the clutches.

There is an English distributor called www.motofast.co.uk who might be worth a call to get some more info.

The company is an american company and the clutches are suppposed to be pretty damn good but not tried one myself.
