Genuine 955 at Moto Rapido
I went out to Moto Rapido's on Saturday. They've got the only official 955 that was ever imported into the UK in there for sale. £14,999 for anyone that is very rich & interested.

Was your mate's a conversion? There are a few about. This bike is one of the 955cc bikes that were produced for the American market to homoligate the race bikes that ran in the AMA Superbike Series. Ducati only produced a few & they were sold as Ducati 916 SPA (Sport Production America) in the States in 1996. This is the only one officially imported into the UK.

yeah, I saw that Sunday when I dropped in. Thought it must be spcial for theprice tag!!

I know when I looked for an SP a few years ago, everyone I spoke to said they were 916 and the race ones 955, although places like JHP did conversions

It came from America via Fast by Ferracci, it was brand new.
