I'm going back to Mallory!

Hi,

after the ass whoopping I got last weekend I'm going back to Mallory with a lap timer for some practice. Providing,

a. I can get some new wheel bearings

b. The lap timer arrives in the post

I'll be going back this Wednesday.

...does anyone else want to come?

Regards,
Andy

I am also returning but going with No Limits in May. While happy with a lot of the course I was going so slowly round Edwinas it was embarrasing. Slow corners and getting on the gas quickly is a weakness I must improve.

Dude - I got overtaken by a some kid on a push bike!

Anyway, I've got all week off next week and its only £55 from 13:30 to 17:00HRS. If it turns out to open pit lane then you could have up to 3 hours track time for £55!!!!!!

Regards,
Andy

enjoy Andy

what worked for me was concentrating on Edwinas to Bus Stop - took at least 4 secs off my time alone - the rest is easy after that

hhhmm?
a. You're right. Didn't make 4 seconds but did make 3 seconds over all.
b. Bollox - the rest is not easy! That said managed to get round Gerrards entering in 5 gear at 6000 rpm. Note to self: Need bigger testicles.

During the racing my best was 115 secs. Today I was making 112's. If I go 4 more times between now and Anglesey, washing off 3 seconds a time, then maybe I stand a chance

Best regards,
Andy - No.31
PS. On the testicles note, I'm off too play with my vacuum cleaner

I assume you mean 1m12s and not 112s, which is nearly 2 mins......

Phil, Kev and Jimbo have all been, so thay can show us round. By the time we have all completed a few laps on Friday it will not matter who has or hasn't been.... but then, I think that is the case with most tracks. The only advantage if you have been before is that you may be faster in the first 2 sessions.

Gerrards is relatively easy to enter fast, but most were not making the most of the bend itself. I was making up a good half second on most people through the bend despite entering at the same speed.
