Question about the Ohlin\'s

Hiya guys, just had a question on the Ohlins dampner that came on my 2000 996S. There is no info in my manual on settings for this dampner, and i've never used this type of dampner before. Is there a good site to look up info on settings for this thing, or can someone here explain them to me?

Vlud, my Ohlins manual describes it fairly well I think. It says:

Basic Adjustment
The adjustment wheel on the Ohlins steering damper has 16 difefrent positions and count in number of clicks from maximum hard position.
You set the damper to maximum hard by turning the know clockwise until it stops.
Start the adjusting of the damper by setting it 10 clicks counter clockwise towards maximum soft position.
The final setting of the damper is dependant on your bike, the road or the track and your riding habits
If you think your bike feels unstable, turn the adjustment knob clockwise 2 clicks at a time until you have the performance you desire.
When riding in urban areas we suggest that you set the damper to maximum soft.

Is this what you're after?
I run an Ohlins damper on my 996bip, and 10 clicks out is ok for me.
