Keep positive Charlotte, things will improve shortly. Everything always seems worse when it's winter, as soon a sspring arrives everyone starts to perk up and the black clouds lift. See you saturday.

Charlotte, Jools, I'm really sorry to hear all this bad news. Keep your chins up (that's just the one chin each - I'm not saying you've got more than one chin .... ). Things can only get better, that's what I always say, and 'everything happens for a reason' which I find impossible to believe when you're talking about death or serious illness but those things are inevitable, part of life, so we just have to cope with them, however we can.

Look on the bright side, Charlotte, you picked the shortest month to have your worst one That's was very clever of you - in fact, put it on your CV Someone with your timing and insight will be snapped up

Just to echo whats said...i do think bad **** comes in 3's. Lost a mate to suicide in January and something else happened before which Ive blanked out my mind. My GSD dog Jade of 11 years, died on Sunday night so that makes 3 now.....its not the first time in my life this 3 stuff has happened.

Chin up dear.....stay positive

Always look forwards......never back

you will be ok Charlotte, - it is just a new chapter in your life, - pma will get you through it, - and there is always somebody else worse off in this world. My bad story of this year: About 3 weeks ago a friend of my wife's was in the swimming pool/gym we use, - most weeks she would leave her 2 young children playing with ours in another area of the club whilst swimming, and she did that this time - Bit of a commotion going on, - staff and paramedics rushing around, - the poor woman (34) had died (suspected heart) whilst swimming, - now if you want a jolt to the real world of what is important in life trying looking 2 children under the age of 10 in the face knowing that they will never see their mother again. It somehow puts a certain perspective on what is really important in this world.
