I'll quite happily accept your offer of coffee making Paul, hopefully if your there and getting involved you may decide to give it a go some time.
I will also hopefully be racing in another class on the day, maybe SoT or 600s

Kev

trying to plan so that I can do at least 3 weekends - camp on site and help where needed. Catle, brands and 1 cadwell for sure, try others if I can persuade her indoors!! love to participate - who knows.....? consider my tent part of your entourage

Hiya CK and cheers for crew offer Al - it will be appreciated yes
I do have a full road licence - it's a acu race licence I don't have so i'd be doing the 'day' release course so to speak.
All the other stuff I have or can get.
Haven't decided on using Max yet - Tiff said she'd kill me if i binned him but it's an option as he now sports Ohlins and will have racetech front. I'm not too sure re the twin discs but it's not going to be costly anyway.
I'm not convinced on the 620 as an option for me either given that I wouldn't learn 'that' much in 6 races ( as a racer I mean )and wouldn't use all the power I already have at my disposal ( as i'd be the limiting factor and not the bike) and given the only thing past Max down Mallory straight was an S4.
It's not ideal to use my road bike no but on the other hand he's already set up for this and if I binned it track or road we would rebuild him no matter what.
My only real addition would be high levels and the catch tray.
If the money allows then I'l probably go for a 600 ss cos i think it would be fun to race one and i'm not likely to be in contention for the podium.
Yes i'm taking it seriously but the main reason i'd do this is for fun and as a personal achievement- I may even get to love it but i'd never race anything else other than a twin thanks

Right, I've been hunting around for track days at these places as I haven't ridden any of the tracks were are racing at and I can't find anyone who has '05 dates on their website.

Does anyone know any organiser who has?

I've heard that they don't even do TD's at Castle Comb is that true? I'll be looking at the MCN track guide this morning I think ....

I've managed to find a guy who will put a 900SS motor in a 600SS for me - anyone else want his details? The 900 motor should get me up to mid-pack

ANYTHING to beat Dickie ...

No dates from 100% but Hottrax have got theirs out.

Cadwell on Thurs 22nd April

No Castle Combe dates

Donny National on Tues 19th April and Tues 19th July

No Brands dates (WTF???)

There's no Cadwell dates later in the year that don't clash. One in Sep is the Friday before we race at Brands .. The one earlier than that is the same day as the Donny Nat date on 19th July.

I have attached the dates for your perusal ...

Apex trackdays should be running on Brands indy on June 10th this is the day before the North Glos race club are there for two days of racing.

I'm told Apex will also be doing Brands GP on July 4th

Castle Come do quiet (as in road silenced) sessions on a Wednesday afternoon

I am realy tempted but the only trouble is were getting married in july 2005.

Not all the circuits have released their dates and the ones that have I know are still subject to change, so published dates may well happen, but there could be the odd change between trackday companies.

We've got some dates secured which will be on the No Limits website shorty.

www.nolimitstrackdays.com

If you're looking for days prior to races to familiarise yourself with the circuit, (Note - NOT race), we have the following dates:

Race 1/5 Cadwell, No Limits trackday 18/4
Race 13/8 Donny, No Limits trackday 11/7
Race 18/9 Brands, No Limits trackday 1 and 11/8
Race 9/10 Cadwell, No Limits trackday 5/9

I'll be at all of these dates if anyone needs any help. or if it's late in the season, wants to show me the way round

No Limits will be offering paid up members of the DSC a 10% discount again this year.

Call Mark on 01727 899173 to book.
