Hi, we've just finished playing with a newly designed quick action throttle for our 999 for this year, its just a replacement throttle tube with a new lobe to make the first 30% of the twist take up 50% of the throttle opening.

So its just the initial 'slack' that is taken up. works well and not silly money at about £115 ish. we're keen to get them on road bikes to get some feedback.

if you want to know more i'll send you some pics.

I'm just finishing the spec sheet, be available soon but actual feed back from riders is best.

Put a 998 throttle on it.........67 degrees of rotation instead of 90!

I did the same as Flemsie when I got my 999s last year - makes a HUGE difference well worth the money.

Fairly easy to fit - start to finish 2 hours - the cables, however are only just long enough - my next project is wider bars and Brembo GP cylinders - will have to make some new cables with the kit I bought from Venhill.
